Received a number of concerned messages and emails from friends who read my previous blog. To these concerned brothers and sisters, I am all right. I was just being melodramatic.
As you all may know, I have a penchant for grandiloquence and I guess what I wrote two days ago sent out shockwaves to all of you. That is why I chose this template for my blog. The black background reflects a certain amount of melancholy and somberness in my life.

On Dec. 1, 1959, representatives of 12 countries, including the United States, signed a treaty in Washington setting aside Antarctica as a scientific preserve, free from military activity.
