There is nothing stronger than the human spirit

Contrary to what I thought, the five-day OBS course passed rather quickly. Got to know my squadmates better over the course. Overcame height elements, land and sea expeditions. Bonding among us grew stronger and there were ample examples of people overcoming their pain and fear to complete the tasks assigned. As a result, self-confidence received a much-needed boost. There is no perfect individual but I do hope that we can work towards becoming a perfect team. Back to normal training from next week onwards. Moving inexorably towards 24th June.

Never knew where Singapore Bible College was until I attended a seminar there on Saturday. Gained much knowledge and new insights from the book review presentation on the book of Ecclesiastes. I guess my greatest lesson from this seminar is that there is a time for everything and that I should not be discouraged if things do not go the way that I intend or desire. What will be, will be.
