4 more weeks!

Slowly but surely, the residential phase of my training is coming to an end. Was lackadaisical the past few weeks. Felt that time was passing too slowly. Now, however, there is only a month left. Starting to appreciate the time spent every night with my squad-mates. Living in close proximity for 16 weeks has allowed me to see the "real" side of almost everyone.

God tells us to love our neighbours as much as ourselves, and also to love our enemies. Try as I might, I have been finding it hard to do so. Some people are simply too repugnant for me to even see some good points in them. Perhaps I am just prejudiced or overly sensitive.

One more week and my friend for 14 years will be getting married. He is the first among my gang to settle down. It is not a surprise for me as I have always felt that he is one of the most mature among the five of us. May the Lord bless Samuel and Carolyn in their matrimony, and may the Lord grant me wisdom and guide me in coordinating their banquet.
